Texas man screams 'Jesus is coming' before fatally stabbing his baby

A Lewisville, Texas man ran out of his apartment complex Sunday afternoon holding his 16-month-old son. He yelled "Jesus is coming" then began to stab the child, the Associated Press reports.

A neighbor shot him in the leg in an attempt to end the attack, but it was too late. The child died of his injuries.

"I can't believe that it actually happened," a neighbor said. "Unbelievable," said another.

"I've been in law enforcement for 20 years and this is probably the worst call I have ever been on," an officer said at the scene.
