Texas teacher who molested 15-year-old student while she was pregnant headed to jail

A Texas teacher who molested a 15-year-old student while she was pregnant will serve six years in prison, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Katherine Ruth Harper, 28, had been accused of having sex with the boy at both her home in Fort Worth home and his home in the suburb of Trophy Club. She pled guilty to sexual assault of a child and having an improper relationship with a student

Harper had been a seventh-grade English teacher and the boy was in her class. She was also a cheerleading coach at the school.

They had exchanged nude photos and drank alcohol together before the molestation.
