The co-hosts of "The View" attacked a Fox News commentator who said Beyoncé was undeserving of winning the Grammy for her country music album.
Speaking to Laura Ingraham on Monday, author Raymond Arroyo ranted that the people voting for the Grammys now are people like "Lady Gaga's cat sitter," and complained Beyoncé shouldn't have more Grammys than Frank Sinatra and Dolly Parton.
Arroyo was previously taken off the air on Fox in March 2024 after he claimed Black people "love sneakers." Once he was allowed back, he was ridiculed after attacking then-Vice President Kamala Harris for cursing. The Lincoln Project followed with a 39-second video of Trump cursing.
Whoopi Goldberg reacted angrily Tuesday.

"Sir, sir, are you aware that when the Grammys began in 1959, there were only 28 categories. Now there are 94, and the year that Frank Sinatra got six nominations, despite having two number-one albums, he only won one Grammy that night for his album cover, not even for his singing. For the album cover."
"Listen, man, you know, you can't -- you can't do that. She earned it," Goldberg continued. "You know, you want to hold on to country music like white people didn't also buy her country album. Come on, man. People voted for it. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you don't. Same with the Oscars. Sit down."
Sara Haines referred Arroyo to the Ken Burns documentary on country music, which was started by combining Irish and Polish music with that of enslaved Africans.
Beyoncé is also an artist who has been around for 25 years and has 13 albums, said Alyssa Farah Griffin.
