'There still could be a case for impeachment': Former federal prosecutor

On Sunday, Attorney General William Barr released bare findings of special counsel Robert Mueller's report.

The four-page released detailed that President Donald Trump and his campaign did not conspire with Russia.

However, former U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade explained that Trump could still be impeached.

"I have never seen anything like this before. I find it really curious that Robert Mueller was not the one to make the recommendation if this did or did not constitute an offense for obstruction of justice," she told MSNBC's Ari Melber. "I find it odd."

She said that just because Trump did not commit a chargeable crime does not mean he is in the clear just yet and that he could still be impeached. 

"There could still be a base for impeachment here even though it does not technically meet the strict requirements of violating a federal statute," she said.
