Two dead and six shot in UNC Charlotte campus mass shooting: report

On Tuesday, an active shooter situation was reported at the University of North Carolina at the  Charlotte campus.

The campus is on lockdown. WCNC News is reporting that three people have been shot.

According to NBC, a medic supervisor said that one suspect is in custody. As of now the name of the victims have not been released. The supervisor went on to say that there are six patients altogether. There have been no word on their condition or if they are UNC students.

Authorities have warned students to stay in a safe location.
