"'I don’t get too angry; I get even.' — Donald Trump, tonight celebrating his victory in New Hampshire and giving E. Jean Carroll’s lawyers more ammunition for cross-examination should he testify in the ongoing trial," wrote Rubin.
Carroll alleges Trump raped her in a New York department store in the late 1990s.
Trump has denied these claims and said that Carroll is fabricating the story to advance her writing career, a claim that formed the basis of Carroll's defamation case.
A jury has already found Trump liable for sexual abuse and defamation. The current trial is purely about assessing additional damages.
