President Donald Trump was asked about President Joe Biden's cancer diagnosis at the White House on Monday and took a swipe at the former president's doctor.
"I think it's very sad, actually. I'm surprised that it wasn't, you know, the public wasn't notified a long time ago," Trump said. "Again, because to get to stage nine, that's a long time."
Biden found out about the prostate cancer diagnosis on Friday, and the public was told the following day, NBC News reported.

Biden is stage four, and there is no "stage nine" in cancer diagnosis. The announcement explained that cancer has moved to Biden's bones.
Prostate cancer is notoriously slow-growing, so early detection could have kept the disease from spreading, Harvard Medical School described.
"The survival rate for early-detected prostate cancer is extremely high, with a 5-year relative survival rate of over 99% for localized (Stage I and II) disease," said the American Cancer Society. "This means that men diagnosed and treated for localized prostate cancer are nearly as likely to live five years after diagnosis as men who have not been diagnosed with cancer."
Trump went on to attack Biden's doctor.
"I think that if you take a look, it, the same doctor that said that Joe was cognitively fine," Trump slammed. "There was nothing wrong with him. Well, he said, if it's the same doctor, he said there was nothing wrong there, and that's being proven to be a sad situation."
