Trump biographer explains how the sitting president is a ‘pariah’ among ex-presidents — and how it could harm America

Donald Trump biographer Michael D'Antonio noted one of the bad things the president has done for the country is turn himself into a pariah among the ex-presidents.
In a conversation about the funeral Wednesday for former President George H.W. Bush, D'Antonio explained that the group of former presidents is an extremely exclusive club that Trump doesn't seem to be invited into.
"It was an incredibly awkward moment, and you almost see that in this very small club of presidents, there's one who is a pariah, and that's a terrible thing for President Trump, but it's also a terrible thing for the country," the biographer said. "So, you have really just these five men who are part of this exclusive group. Obviously, the Obamas had discussed with each other what their response was going to be, and they were gracious. I think, you know, President Trump had an opportunity to actually work his way down that line and greet each person if he had the courage to do so."
Unlike Trump, former President George W. Bush did walk down the line and thank each former president and their spouses for attending.
Ironically, the people in the row and the row behind them, who are accustomed to dancing the "political dance" didn't do it today for Donald Trump. The president likely doesn't even understand it.
