Trump campaign manager sexually harassed reporters and accosted Bush aide: report

The allegations of misconduct against Corey Lewandowski, campaign manager for Republican front-runner Donald Trump, increased on Monday with a new report concerning his alleged sexual harassment of female journalists.

According to Buzzfeed, Lewandowski "has called female reporters late at night to come on to them, often not sounding entirely sober. Some in the press corps joke that if Lewandowski is calling after a certain hour, women are better off not answering."

Lewandowski also allegedly "expressed frustration" with women reporting on the real estate mogul's campaign while at the same time expressing his desire to have sex with them.

A former spokesperson for Jeb Bush's campaign, Tim Miller, also came forward with allegations that Lewandowski behaved aggressively toward him after a debate in South Carolina last month.

Miller said that Lewandowski "hip-checked" him after telling him to back away from Trump during the encounter. At the time, Miller was approaching reporters who had spoken to Trump to offer rebuttals on behalf of the former Florida governor.

"While I was amused by Corey's love tap, the broader Trump culture of thugs who enforce his every whim is a very disturbing trend for people who want to have the powers of the federal government," said Miller, who is now a spokesperson for a conservative super PAC opposing Trump.

Lewandowski told Buzzfeed the story was "factually inaccurate," but did not offer specifics.

"Be sure before you accuse me of something it's accurate," he said in an email. "And, in these instances you are wrong."

The report came to light less than a week after he was publicly criticized for seemingly manhandling former Breitbart.com reporter Michelle Fields. Politico also reported that while working for Americans for Prosperity, Lewandowski referred to one female co-worker as a "c*nt" and threatened to "blow up" that group's chief financial officer's car.
