'Make him crazy': Lawyer George Conway reveals how to bring down Trump in 2024
Lawyer and Lincoln Project troublemaker George Conway explained on Monday that he has the solution to bringing down Donald Trump in 2024: "Make him crazy."
The long-time solution for the Lincoln Project has been to troll "The Donald" on his own airwaves by playing into his insecurities. They've accused him of being a fraud, a dictator, old news, a loser, weak and even implied that he's impotent. Those attacks have drawn some of the harshest words from the former president as he rages on social media.
Republicans starting the group, so-called "Never Trumpers," pulled in big bucks of cash not to get anyone elected but to taunt the former president into fear and trigger his panic.
"I said this for quite some time — I'll say it again — make him crazy," said Conway. "He is already crazy. If you point out those things — the reason why he is this pathological narcissist is because he's deeply insecure, and he knows that he is a fraud. He knows he's not as smart as he says he is. He knows he's not as good as he says he is. He knows he's a rapist. He knows he's a liar. He knows, he doesn't want to be exposed."
Conway, the former spouse of a top adviser and campaign manager to Trump, explained that attacking him on things he's sensitive about "melts" him.
"And exactly as you say, he is a bully, but he is a weak man," he continued. "You know, he puts up this strong man act at that trial in front of the jury. He didn't actually show up for the first trial, where he could have been cross-examined about what happened in that department store, because he's scared."
He explained that Roberta Kaplan, the lawyer for E. Jean Carroll, will be watching Trump over the next several weeks to see if he defames her again. Legal analyst Lisa Rubin suggested that the reason he's been so quiet on Carroll is that he doesn't have the financial liquidity that he once claimed. So, he can't afford another judgement that large.
