Trump complains about crowd size before mentioning NC flood victims or attack on Israel

Former President Donald Trump gave a speech Tuesday where he again complained about the size of a crowd at one of his recent rallies even before mentioning the victims of Hurricane Helene or Iran's missile attack on Israel.

Trump began his speech in Waunakee, Wisconsin, by noting he had spoken in the state just days earlier.

"You know, we were up here on Saturday," the former president explained. "We had a group, I think it was maybe 50,000 or 60,000 people."

"And because we were not afforded the luxury of having enough security because of — not because of Secret Service but because of Washington, I spoke in front of about 700 people," he complained. "And 50,000 or 60,000 people weren't able to see. And I think they still love me, but we have to make sure — we have to make sure."

"That was the political opponent saying, we don't want him to have a crowd like that."

Several moments later, Trump spoke about flooding in North Carolina.

"And as you know, North Carolina was just devastated," he said. "They don't have anything. Towns were flooded. Asheville is, as you know, totally underwater. Big place."

"Massive numbers of lives were lost yesterday, the day before yesterday," he added. "And still counting."
