An expert witness called by Donald Trump's defense lawyers testified on Monday that real estate valuations presented by the Trump Organization were not "proper" or "reasonable."
Under cross-examination, real estate expert Frederick Chin was asked about property values claimed by the Trump Organization.
"Was the Seven Springs valuation a proper valuation?" a prosecutor for the New York District Attorney's Office asked, according to Courthouse News correspondent Erik Uebelacker.

"No," Chin admitted. "I would use potentially different methods."
"Is it reasonable?" the attorney pressed.
"No," Chin said.
Earlier in the day, Chin defended Trump, saying the former president had used the "as if" investment value instead of the "as is" market value.
Chin said what Judge Arthur Engoron referred to as the "genius factor" could have inflated the value of his assets.
