Donald Trump spoke to a rally crowd in Derry, New Hampshire, on Monday, where he celebrated his own "genius."
As part of his rambling speech, Trump seemed to realize the abbreviations of the United States, U.S., are the same letters as "us," meaning an individual and others.
Speaking about French President Emmanuel Macron, Trump explained, "You know, he's for France. I'm for us. I'm for us. You know how you spell 'us' right? You spell it U-S!"
The crowd cheered.
"I just picked that up. Has anyone ever thought of that be — I just picked that up," Trump continued.
Over the past several years, Trump has celebrated himself as a "very stable genius," at a NATO summit. After questions about Trump surfaced in 2018 about his "mental powers slipping," Trump took to social media and proclaimed himself, "like, very smart."
Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi once triggered Trump by saying that she "prays" for Trump and hoped his family would "stage an intervention" because he was "crazy." Trump then gathered a group of staffers and called on them one by one, demanding they tell the public he was "calm" in the meeting over the government shutdown.
