'Trump has met his match': Why Nancy Pelosi is unlike any woman Trump has ever met

President Donald Trump "has met his match" when governing with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi Nancy Pelosi. She has refused to back down from Trump's demand for a border wall in exchange for reopening the government.

"Those who know him say the president is especially thrown off if a powerful woman challenges him. Until now, Mr. Trump has really never dealt at length with a woman as powerful and politically savvy as Nancy Pelosi," CNN reporter Brian Todd told host Wolf Blitzer on Friday.

Trump biographer Michael D'antonio said that the president has never encountered such a powerful woman.

"If he can't bully you, he is not quite sure how to get what he wants. It's evident to everyone that paid attention that Donald Trump has met his match in Speaker Pelosi," D'antonio said.

"This president doesn't respect women. He hasn't encountered one with this level of power ever before in his life. I think he is really confused about it. This may be the moment that he can't bluff his way out. I think it's really messing with his mind," D'antonio said.
