Trump is already preparing his audience for his 2024 loss: reporter

If Donald Trump fails to win back the White House come Nov. 5, it's only because it was rigged, he told a crowd Monday.

On the eve of New Hampshire citizens heading to the ballot box to cast their vote for the GOP primary, Trump stood at the lectern in Laconia to give life back to a familiar refrain.

"If they win, and we can't let them win," he told the crowd. "And the only way they're going to win, in my opinion, is if they cheat. Because [sic] look at these crowds; they're spilling out. All over the building, we have people. And outside we have hundreds of people, they can't get in. This was supposed to be a little stop. It's crazy."

The statement is one that The Huffington Post reporter S.V. Dáte posted on social media, suggesting that the president is bracing his MAGA base to be vigilant for another rigged election.

"Trump is *AGAIN* setting up election lies," the tweet reads. "Tells his rally audience that the only way he can lose is if Democrats cheat. The last time he did this, he incited an insurrection at the Capitol as the final element of his coup attempt."

For the event, Trump brought to the stage former contenders like tech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum (R). They brought up the topic of cheating several times.

Trump addressed it while insulting President Joe Biden.

"We have a weak man who cheats like hell," he said. "That's the only thing they're good at; they cheat at elections like maybe in third-world countries. We're not going to let them cheat in 2024. Everybody's going to be watching. They're gonna try. They're gonna try. Because that's their natural instinct."

Aside from stopping the cheating in the upcoming contests for president, Trump also promised to prevent World War III. Trump previously promised that Biden would cause World War II, a fact that Nikki Haley has mocked recently.

"I'm the only candidate that can make this promise to you: I will prevent World War III," he said. "I will prevent it; you're gonna have World War III."

He added: "The way it's going now you are going to have World War III."
