Evidence could 'fill this courtroom': Letitia James says Trump failed to undermine case

She's winning, winning, winning.

New York Attorney General Letitia James took an early victory lap halfway through the fourth week of Donald Trump's fraud trial in a one-minute video testimonial to let it be known that her side is inching closer to victory.

"The defendants counsel attempted and failed to discredit our entire case," she said in the online video. "But our case is the result of a four-year investigation that is based on hundreds of thousands of documents and many, many witnesses."

She highlighted how Judge Arthur Engoron, who is presiding over the case in Manhattan, marveled at the amount of evidence her office stacked up against Trump and his fellow defendants.

James noted: "As the judge said today, 'There is enough evidence in this case to fill this courtroom.'"

"And he already ruled in our favor and found that Mr. Trump engaged in this fraud."

Indeed, back in September, the judge sided with the prosecution's claim that Trump committed rampant fraud for a stretch of years while establishing his real estate empire and vaulting into celebrity stratosphere before embarking on a successful campaign to become the 45th president.

As a result of that decision, the the judge ordered the removal and dissolving of some of Trump's companies.

Trump’s vowed to appeal, and slung mud at the decision by calling it “completely disconnected from the facts and governing law.”

James and her team of prosecutors have aimed to prove that Trump and his company duped banks, insurers, and others by overhyping the value of his assets and liquidity on paperwork that was relied upon to secure deals and various loans.

"When you have build an empire on falsehood the truth is your only enemy," James said in the video. "And we will continue to present the truth in court."
