Former MSNBC host and legal analyst Katie Phang lashed out at President Donald Trump after a Truth Social post attacking "radical left" judges.
Last week, the U.S. Court of International Trade ruled that it was striking down Trump's alleged "reciprocal tariffs" and import taxes on goods from China, Mexico and Canada. Trump then took to Truth Social with a lengthy post attacking the judges, including one whom he appointed.
“If allowed to stand, this would completely destroy Presidential Power — The Presidency would never be the same!” Trump posted.
“The U.S. Court of International Trade incredibly ruled against the United States of America on desperately needed Tariffs but, fortunately, the full 11 Judge Panel on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit Court has just stayed the order,” Trump wrote.

“Where do these initial three Judges come from?” Trump asked in the post. “How is it possible for them to have potentially done such damage to the United States of America? Is it purely a hatred of ‘TRUMP?’ What other reason could it be?"
The attack includes one of the judges he appointed, as well as others appointed by GOP presidents.
Phang said on a Meidas Touch-sponsored video, "Get the F outa here! These radical left judges? These are judges you had a hand in appointing, Donald Trump! Or they were appointed under Republican administrations."
"So how very convenient that when you don’t get your way, suddenly these are all radical left judges," Phang slammed.
She called it "intellectually lazy" but added, Trump "is just an intellectually lazy a--hole."
Phang also said that this will significantly reduce the power of the conservative group, the Federalist Society, which has, in the past, advised Trump on judicial nominees.
"It also goes to show, though, in many ways, that the influence and the power of the Federalist Society, is going to be waning now. Because if the message is being sent that the president doesn't need you anymore, are they going to dig in? Sure they will. But I think it also shows that it's a sign of the times. It's a sign of the times that the president is saying, 'I don't need you to help me with judicial appointments," Phang closed.
She noted this appears to be a message being sent to the Federalist Society.
When the video was posted to Bluesky, Phang doubled down, writing, "I said what I said."
