Donald Trump on Friday was hit with a near-$90 million verdict in E. Jean Carroll's defamation case, prompting the internet to react.
The former president was hit with a jury verdict exceeding $80 million for his defamation of the columnist, who was found by a jury to have been sexually assaulted by Trump in the 1990s.
This caused some to joke about where the money might come from.

"And Mexico will pay for it," Democratic lawmaker Jared Moskowitz said in response to the massive verdict.
Former White House reporter Brian J. Karem had a questions about the consequences of such an award.
"I wonder how much the greens fees will rise?" he asked on Friday.
Legal writer Walter Olson wrote, "Man who vowed 'to open up those libel laws' so 'when they write purposely negative and horrible false articles, we can sue them and in lots of money' can look at life from both sides now."
Conservative attorney George Conway responded directly to Trump, who said the damages award was "absolutely ridiculous."
"Not so," said Conway, a frequent Trump critic. "The United States is about the rule of law, something you couldn't care less about. Today nine ordinary citizens upheld the rule of law. You have no right to maliciously defame anyone, let alone a woman you raped. In America, we call this justice."
A popular social media page called "Angry Staffer" said, "Trump is lucky the Biden administration is getting rid of junk fees, cause that check is going to bounce."
Former federal prosecutor Ron Filipkowski also chimed in:
"Does Junior have a Plan B if there's no inheritance?"
