Trump just got hit with an epic smackdown from this Mexican construction worker

A Mexican immigrant construction worker in Canada has just trolled Donald Trump in a very artistic manner: Flying a Mexican flag from the top of the Trump Tower site in Vancouver.

Diego Reyna hung the flag up Saturday. The building itself is scheduled to open later this year.

Reyna told CBC News that he put the flag up there as a message of "love and unity," that he hopes will reach Trump. By Sunday morning, the flag had been taken down.

"Look at that building, look how beautiful it is… and that is a result of a coordination of all the ethnic groups in Canada," Reyna said. (Reyna himself has not worked on this particular building — though it seems likely that somebody had to have let him up there to do this.)

In addition to flying the flag and taking a photo of himself with it, Reyna also posted a special video message on YouTube.

"So, we are up top of the Trump Tower in downtown Vancouver. And you're wondering what we have here? Take a look at the beautiful city. See? And then we the waters and the mountains," Reyna said in the video. "And what's that? A Mexican flag. And why is that? Because it's Mexicans that built this tower — form the drywall to the concrete finish, to the steel framing, to the cleaning, and the scrap.

"This building is standing here today thanks to us — to our work, and our labor. So there's a little present for Mr. Trump so that every time you judge us, you can think, 'Who is building your towers?' We are. Thank you.

And in a message posted on Facebook, Reyna told Trump that "we did our best work, your tower here in Vancouver is premium quality, and we were a crucial part of it, not just Mexicans but immigrants as a whole."

He also assured The Donald, "while working on your tower Mexicans didn't steal anything nor raped anyone, we just did the best work we could possibly do."
