President Donald Trump's rambling commencement speech to West Point cadets on Saturday underscored his mental infirmity, former MSNBC star Katie Phang proclaimed on her YouTube channel, per the Daily Beast.
“You have these young, bright, incredibly smart, very talented young men and women that are about to embark on the next stage of their lives and they hear rambling, ranting, incoherent, dementia-laden ... just diarrhea of the mouth from Donald Trump,” Phang said on her channel. “It was such a keen example of his lack of mental acuity and his lack of competency. He has no faculties that are left uncompromised.”
She also attacked Trump over his refusal to shake the hands of the graduating cadets, a presidential tradition for West Point speeches. “Trump just said ‘screw it, I’m not going to do it’ and he just left,” said Phang.

Phang, an attorney by training, headed up an MSNBC show until this year, which was eliminated as part of a closure of the network's Miami offices.
Trump's speech at West Point was characterized by a number of tangents. He attacked drag shows and diversity programs and said the military should instead "spread democracy to everybody around the world at the point of a gun," instead of focusing on those things. He also obsessed over golf, and babbled about the marriage of real estate developer Bill Levitt.
“He ended up getting a divorce, found a new wife," Trump told the graduating cadets. "Could you say a trophy wife? I guess we can say a trophy wife.”
