The game of Trump's legal musical chairs may head to trial and determine his innocence or guilt.
Former prosecutor Glenn Kirschner's latest YouTube episode of "Justice Matters" anticipates that former President Donald Trump will try to deploy more delay tactics.
But he believes they won't work in the hush money case.

Kirschner even takes the next step and assures a conviction is virtually certain if the case is gaveled in with an impaneled jury.
"Friends, I know it feels like Donald Trump has been playing musical chairs with his criminal cases for so long now, but the music will stop and Donald Trump will be convicted in one of his cases actually Donald Trump will be convicted in more than one of his criminal cases," he said.
A hearing is set to occur this Thursday in the criminal hush-money case against the 45th president in what could determine if the case keeps to its March 25 date, set by Judge Juan Manuel Merchan to begin trial.
Should the date hold, it would mark the first of Trump’s four criminal indictments to go to trial.
So far, Trump's legal team has attempted to seek a dismissal of the case.
However, court records show that in recent weeks the judge has been alerting both the defense and Manhattan prosecutors to prepare for jury selection.
Trump faces a 34-count indictment in a case brought by Manhattan Attorney General Alvin Bragg last April.
The case charges Trump with falsifying internal records kept by the Trump Organization in order to shield a series of payments to his former fixer Michael Cohen in an effort known as "catch and kill" to prevent tabloid stories exposing his alleged affairs with porn actress Stormy Daniels and ex-Playboy model Karen McDougal.
Kirschner suspects Trump's legal team will throw everything they have to put the brakes on a trial ever starting.
"I'm sure Donald Trump's defense attorneys are going to be in that courtroom on Thursday coming up with all kinds of reasons why they want Judge Merchan to cancel or to postpone or continue until a later date other than Donald Trump's March 25th trial," he said. "I'm sure they'll be asking the judge to you know set this out until 2025 or 2026 or really anytime after the November 2024 presidential election and let's hope Judge Merchan holds fast."
