At his rally in New Hampshire on Tuesday, former President Donald Trump went out of his way to attack Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who is overseeing the election conspiracy case against him in Georgia.
Trump zeroed in on allegations by one of his co-defendants' attorneys that Willis is involved in a romantic relationship with Nathan Wade, one of her office's special prosecutors.
Willis, Trump claimed at his rally, paid over "a million dollars" to her "boyfriend" who has "no experience as a lawyer" (Wade is in fact a longtime trial attorney who has also worked as a municipal judge) and gave him a trip on Norwegian Cruise Line using taxpayer money.

There is currently no publicly revealed evidence from the defense attorney corroborating Willis' relationship with Wade, and the two of them having a relationship wouldn't inherently be a conflict of interest in the Trump case as both of them are prosecutors.
However, some records suggest Wade has been paid more than other people hired to the same role.
Willis has defended her decision to hire Wade, touting his credentials, although she has not confirmed or denied the claims of romantic involvement with him.
