President Donald Trump took a break from his Mar-a-Largo vacation to give an update on his border wall.
Trump had famously promised that Mexico would pay for a concrete wall, but that proved false when Mexico refused.
Trump then shut down the government in an unsuccessful attempt to get taxpayers to pay for a steel-slat fence. After Congress only appropriated $1.37 billion for border barriers, Trump declared a national emergency in a bid to take money for the wall from other projects Congress had funded.
Trump's declaration is already being challenged in court.
Despite his public failures, Trump used all capital letters in a tweet claiming he is currently building his wall.
