Trump skips Melania in 'Happy Mother's Day' tweet -- then defends conservatives from social media attacks

President Donald Trump finally got around to wishing America's moms a "Happy Mother's Day" after 1 PM ET on Sunday but failed to acknowledge his wife Melania as well as the two other mothers of his other children.

After a morning of ranting about the Democrats, Trump posted a lovely photo on Twitter for Mother's Day wishes -- then immediately followed it up with a defense of conservatives on social media, writing, "Big attacks on Republicans and Conservatives by Social Media. Not good!"

For the record, former President Barack Obama wished his wife, Michelle, a Happy Mother's Day hours ago.
