Trump's deflections of Mueller report shows that he actually 'really cares': Former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara

On Wednesday, Former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Preet Bharara suggested that President Donald Trump's latest actions show that he really cares about the findings in special counsel Robert Mueller's report.

While talking to reporters on the South Lawn, Trump said that the public should have the opportunity to see the full Mueller report.

"Let it come out. Let people see it — that's up to the attorney general," Trump said.

"I don't think it says anything about what Donald Trump wants and what he might instruct Bill Barr to do if he thinks it's appropriate," Bharara said. "We heard him time and time again say that he has no problem with something and then he does nothing. He said for months, everybody will remember, that he had no problem sitting down with Bob Mueller and answering questions. He said it was up to his lawyers."

Trump never sat down with Mueller and blamed it on his lawyers. He also answered written questions.

Adding, "There are times when Donald Trump realizes he sounds defensive and he is afraid and running from something. He will say things like, 'I don't care, and tt doesn't bother me' when it does. I don't think it's any evidence of anything that might happen in the future."
