Trump's 'most damning day' is coming on February 7: CNN

President Donald Trump's former personal lawyer and "fixer" Michael Cohen will soon give his first public testimony to the House Oversight and Reform Committee in Congress.

On Wednesday, CNN's Justice reporter Shimon Prokupecz said that Trump's most "damning" day is near.

Cohen is scheduled to testify on February 7th.

"We know from court documents that Michael Cohen lied to Congress, and we're expecting that he will, set the record straight here. How damning might this be?" CNN host Brianna Keilar asked.

"This perhaps could be the most damning day for the president and this White House come February 7th. Michael Cohen stood before a court and swore to tell the truth and said that the president directed him to make these payments," he said.

"These payments could be the most problematic part of this hearing for the president," Prokupecz said.
