Trump's tweets: 'what happens when someone becomes desperate and is on the verge of a melt down'

A Democrat on the House Judiciary said that President Donald Trump appears on the verge of a meltdown.

Congressman Ted Lieu told MSNBC host Chris Hayes just how much was revealed by President Trump's latest Twitter barrage.

"When I read the President's series of tweets this morning I thought that Donald Trump is on the verge of a melt down," Congressman Lieu worried.

"Not only were these tweets wildly inappropriate, they were weakening his legal position -- he's effectively waived all executive privileges for any sort of witness or himself in terms of being questioned by Congress," Lieu explained. "There's no reason he would have done that unless he's in a very desperate situation."

"When you say 'melt down,' what do you mean by that?" Chris Hayes followed up. "You hear people talk about concerns

about his disposition in this particular moment, what do you mean by that?"

"He's he basically is taking on the rule of law, the rule of law is

going to win," replied the congressman and former prosecutor. "That's what happens when someone becomes desperate and is on the verge of a melt down."
