Two Roger Stone websites yanked offline as Trump confidant faces jail for gag order violations: report

According to a report from CNBC, two websites linked to Roger Stone have been taken down as the confidant to President Donald Trump faces being jailed for multiple violations of a judge's gag order.

The report states that the websites were being used to not only raise funds for the embattled Stone but also to promote conspiracy theories.

"At least one of those deletions apparently occurred after CNBC reported Sunday that the Republican operative might have violated the terms of his judicial gag order by posting an image on his Instagram account asking 'Who framed Roger Stone.'" CNBC reported, adding, "Another of Stone’s websites, which itself was entitled whoframedrogerstone.com, has also been deleted."

"One, stonezone.com, was operating as of late Sunday according to data from the Internet archival service the Wayback Machine," the report continues," But on Tuesday, visitors to that page were greeted by a message saying 'This page isn’t working. www.stonezone.com is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500.'"

On Feb. 21, Judge Amy Berman Jackson warned Stone about criticizing Mueller’s team and their investigation of his involvement in the 2016 presidential election.

Should Jackson now find Stone broke her gag order, his release on $250,000 bail could be revoked and he could be ordered to jail.
