The View’s Whoopi Goldberg wallops the GOP: How the hell it can be a 'hard time for men but not for your daughters?!'

"The View" co-hosts quoted the White House claiming that Brett Kavanaugh will be confirmed on the Supreme Court this week. But Whoopi Goldberg and her colleagues were shocked.

"They don't care," said Joy Behar under her breath.

"People are asking why didn't the FBI take this account into consideration?" wondered Goldberg. "If it's true, it also means he lied under oath."

"That's important! You're talking about a person who would be on the Supreme Court who is willing to lie under oath. Think about that. Somebody ruling on cases of perjury," former prosecutor Sunny Hostin said.

She went on to say that while the committee decided to allow an FBI investigation, "it doesn't appear to have been a thorough investigation." As many as 40 people indicated they had information they were willing to give the FBI that weren't contacted.

"It was about 'her word wasn't enough,' which I've always taken issue with," Hostin continued. "I've put on cases with one person's word versus another person's word and the jury assesses credibility. If her word wasn't enough, shouldn't they also want to test his story as well."

Goldberg was annoyed with the senators saying that they were worried about their sons.

"Then you should want an FBI investigation to get to the bottom of it!" Goldberg said. "My point is that if you are worried about your son, you want there to be investigative stuff happening so you can show whether your son is innocent or guilty."

She then noted those saying it's a hard time in America for sons but neglecting daughters.

"That means if your daughters get assaulted you're saying you're my kid 'But I don't take your word for it,'" she continued.

In the second segment, Hostin noted that if someone is a representative of their state or district they should actually listen to people.

"And if women are saying, 'I've been sexually assaulted,' I don't think you run into a bathroom and not listen to them," Hostin said.

Behar noted that calling officials out is good but voting them out is far better.

Goldberg agreed, saying that sexual assault doesn't have a partisanship and it's obvious that the GOP isn't supportive of women. She also noted she can't remember a time in history "when people got on board with making fun of this woman."
