CNN's Ed Lavandera was reporting live from the scene on Anderson Cooper 360 when he was bodychecked to the ground by an unidentified man, who quickly walked away from the scene.
Update, 10:05 p.m. EST: Lavandera reported on CNN Tonight that a person identifying himself as the man who attacked him approached him off-camera and apologized for his actions.
And this CNN reporter Ed Lavandera just got straight bumped by some clown who shouldn't have done that in Charlotte #CharlotteProtestpic.twitter.com/w846F4mwYO
