WATCH: Cop scolds Alabama Republican for intimidating a 17-year-old girl who supports his rival

On Tuesday a video captured Alabama State Senator Larry Stutts (R) being scolded by local police after he allegedly took a picture of a 17-year old girl.

"She just wanted to understand why you were taking her picture, I didn't understand either," a cop says in the video. "Do you need any more pictures of her?"

"No I got one," Stutts said.

The girl was holding a sign in support of his rival Johnny Mack Morrow. Stutts told police, "I'm sure you're aware it's illegal to advertise on a [state highway.]"

"I was concerned about your people intimidating a 17-year old girl," another person said.
