WATCH: Dennis Rodman gets personal thank you from Sarah Sanders for 'positive things' he said about Trump

As the furor around Donald Trump's meeting with Kim Jong-un wound down, one unorthodox diplomat got a personal thank you from White house spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

Rodman did not seem perturbed by the call from the White House. He's seen cooly leaning back as Sanders extends the President's sincere thank you for his role in the talks.

“I just wanted to call in. The president had seen some of your comments over the last several days, and he just wanted me to reach out and thank you for some of the positive things you said and appreciate you being helpful in this process.”
