Watch Donald Trump rage at protesters in Rhode Island: 'They don't love our country'

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Monday said that protesters who disagreed with him "don't love our country."

At a campaign event in Warwick, Rhode Island, the candidate took the stage to denounce Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) for teaming up to deny him the necessary delegates to clinch the nomination.

But before Trump could launch into his attack, several groups of protesters interrupted the event.

"Get them out of here," Trump demanded. "Don't hurt them, don't hurt them. We have to be very gentle."

"You know in New York we had some protesters, they're all paid for," he insisted as the rowdy crowd chanted, "Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump."

"I actually believe that they do not love our country, I'll be honest with you," the billionaire opined. "I really believe that. They don't love our country."

A third group of protesters silenced Trump, triggering a chant of "build that wall" from the crowd.

"Don't even think about it, it will be built," the candidate promised. "Don't waste your breath. It will be built, believe me."

"It will go up fast, and it will be big and it will be high and strong. And it's going to help stop the drugs from pouring into Rhode Island."
