Comedian Jon Stewart debuted new stand-up jokes about the current state of politics in America on the day before the election, The Daily Beastreports.
Stewart performed at New York’s 12th annual Stand Up for Heroes benefit.
The former "Daily Show" host reminded the crowd of an anti-Semitic tweet storm Trump sent against him in 2013.
Stewart welcomed U.S. servicemembers in the audience and said, "I’m so glad you’re here, I thought you’d be at the border.”
“I’m so scared!” he joked. “There’s thousands of sharecroppers coming to America at one to two miles an hour. They’ll be here by April. Oh my god, what are we going to do?"
That was not his only comment on the president.
"Donald Trump has been president forever. He’s never not been president," Steward suggested.
Stewart also addressed the mass shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, predicting the government was “not going to f*cking do anything” in response to the most deadly attack on Jewish Americans in the country's history.
Stewart again addressed the servicemembers in the crowd.
“If other people kill us, as you know, we will make you go to their place forever. It’s basically how Americans learn geography now," he said. "But if we kill each other, we do nothing.”
