Polls are closing in Georgia's 6th district in an election that pits Democrat Jon Ossoff against Republican candidate Karen Handel.

This is the most expensive House race in history -- with more than $50 million spent -- to fill the seat vacated by by Rep. Tom Price (R) who joined President Donald Trump's cabinet.

The election is seen as a referendum on the presidency of Trump.

The polls are expected to close at 7 pm on Tuesday, however some some polling stains were granted extra time do to glitches and inclement weather.
