Watch live: Obama campaigns in Oskaloosa, Iowa
August 14, 2012
Obama continued his swing through Iowa on Tuesday, stopping in Oskaloosa to speak to supporters.
His campaigning in the state coincided with brand new VP pick Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), and Obama's stump speech touched on Congress' failure to pass the controversial farm bill, which Republicans slathered with $16 billion in cuts to the food stamp program.
On a surprise stop on Monday, Obama hit up the Iowa State Fair, where he reportedly ate a beer and a pork chop. He also purchased beers for 10 people, so long as they weren't holding a Romney sign.
