WATCH: Republicans dodge questions over Trump’s demand for Sessions to end Mueller probe

In a Wednesday morning Twitter rant, President Donald Trump frantically asked Attorney General Jeff Sessions to un-recuse himself as the Special Counsel Robert Muller's investigation closes in.

CNN's Senior Congressional Correspondent Manu Raju said that Republicans tried to downplay President Trump's tweet.

"Republican after Republican today did not embrace concerns," Raju said.

Sen. Dean Heller (R-NV) walked away and slammed his car door when Raju tried to ask him questions.

Another senator said he would not answer any questions about President Trump.
