Watch this Washington Post staffer's heroic quest to deliver a paper to Katy Perry

Pop sensation Katy Perry on Tuesday was devastated to discover that the Washington Post won’t deliver physical copies of the paper to her California zip code—and prompted one man’s valiant effort to ensure she receive the news in print.

Perry took to Twitter to express dismay over the Post’s circulation. “I’ll just have to say with my singular perspective of the New York Times,” she wrote.

Presumably rattled by the pop star’s tweet, an intrepid staffer ("Dave") at the Washington Post’s "Department of Satire" (who knew?) made it his personal mission to deliver a physical paper to Perry’s California address.

The Post tweeted the resulting video—which includes stunning footage of the 324,000 square-foot Washington Post Press Facility in College Park, MD—to Perry  with the explicit instructions to “check your mail in 2-3 days.”
