WATCH: White TV anchor insists on pain challenge against Ethiopian woman -- and gets hilariously smoked

Philadelphia CBS anchor Jim Donovan quickly learned not to enter a pain endurance challenge with someone who has spent their life eating spicy foods.

Last week, Donovan insisted on taking on co-anchor Rahel Solomon in the so-called "OneChipChallenge," a contest to see who can eat a single spicy Paqui chip without breaking a sweat.

Although Solomon noted that the chip was spicy, it was Donovan who suffered for several agonizing minutes before ending up in the station's bathroom.

For her part, Solomon said that growing up in Ethiopia had given her the ability to tolerate spicy foods, unlike her white male counterpart.
