WATCH: White woman arrested for racist tirade against young man standing in line to vote

A white woman is spending election night in jail after accosting a person of color who was waiting in line to vote in Montana's battleground U.S. Senate and congressional campaigns, the Bozeman Daily Chroniclereports.

Wendy Bies, 53, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer and disorderly conduct and is being held without bond in the Gallatin County jail.

Bies allegedly "yelled racist remarks" at Brian Mango, 22, at the Gallatin County Courthouse on election day.

“Go back where you came from,” Bies told the young man.

"Do you know why Mom is here? Because Americans bombed her country," he said of his mother, a refugee from Laos.

"Do you know why my Dad's here? Because they brought his ancestors here in chains," he said of his father, who is black.

Tennison Big Day, a Native American, was not far behind Mango in line and record the incident.

Big Day said he heard Bies claim that it was President Donald Trump who gave the victim his voting rights.
