Fox News host Guilfoyle: Black Lives Matter could be 'important' if only they 'behaved in the right way'

During a Fox News panel discussion covering a range of topics, The Five co-host Kimberly Guilfoyle had some advice for the members of Black Lives Matter, saying they needed to "behave" if they want to be taken seriously.

In video captured by Media Matters, Guilfoyle responded to co-host Greg Gutfeld about BLM by first complaining about comments made by founder Patrisse Cullors who compared President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler, calling him "literally the epitome of evil."

According to Guilfoyle, Cullors was out of line and then she proceeded to instruct her and other BLM members on how to conduct themselves.

"So let's be, like, rational here," Guilfoyle began. "Obviously, this is ridiculous. They lose credibility when they make these kinds of statements and when they condone violence in general."

"I agree with you Jesse [Watters]," she continued. "They could be a very powerful, important movement if they, you know, behaved in the right way and didn't condone violence that's happening in Ferguson and other places and then making bombastic statements like this that have no reason whatsoever with truth and what's going on and what the president is trying to do."
