Wisconsin mom shot and killed from back seat by 2-year-old son

A 26-year-old Wisconsin woman was shot and killed in her car by her 2-year-old son on Tuesday morning in Milwaukee.

According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Patrice Price, a mother of three, was driving her boyfriend's car at around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday when her 2-year-old son found an unsecured weapon in the back seat and fired it. The bullet struck Price in the back.

Witnesses said that the vehicle came to a stop in the middle of Highway 175 and a crowd quickly formed as people rushed to Price's aid, but it was too late. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.

Price's father Andre Price told WISN Channel 12 that his daughter's boyfriend, a security guard, must have accidentally left his weapon in the vehicle. The father said that authorities have kept him from his daughter's body.

"Now I don't have her no more. My chest has been hurting," said Andre Price. "I have a knot in my chest. They won't even let me see my daughter. I wanted to hold my daughter for one last time."
