Mike Pence is 'perpetuating the lie' that there was no collusion: MSNBC reporter

On Wednesday, MSNBC's Vaughn Hilliard was "taken back" by Vice President Mike Pence after he continued to perpetuate lies about President Donald Trump.

Pence said that special counsel Robert Mueller's report said that Trump did not obstruct justice.

"Just to be clear that lie keeps getting perpetuated that the report came to the conclusion that there was no obstruction," MSNBC host Ali Velshi said. "Just so we're all clear, it didn't actually do that. It actually found many instances of obstruction. It came to the conclusion it was not going to indict the president or others. Just want to be clear because the president and his people keep saying that and it's just misinformation."

Hilliard, who asked Pence the question said he was "taken back" by the vice president's response.

"To be honest with you, I was taken back by what you heard by the vice president's answer there," he said. "What has not happened from the vice president or the president, are the reckoning of the use of the hacked emails from their democratic opponents in 2016. Until they say that and pledge to not do it again in the future, I think the question has to be asked of the vice president and everyone else in the administration."
