'A sex-fueled, Playboy Mansion-like cult': Ex-host Andrea Tantaros sues 'indecent' Fox News

Former Fox News host Andrea Tantaros has filed a lawsuit against her old employer that alleges she was demoted after complaining about sexual harassment.

As reported by the New YorkTimes, Tantaros's trouble at Fox began when former CEO Roger Ailes called her into his office and asked her to stand up and turn around so he could get "a good look" at her. She refused to do so and, shortly afterward, she was demoted from her role as co-host of The Five to a show with lower ratings.

But it doesn't end there -- the suit alleges Ailes called her back into his office at least two other times and again attempted to get "a good look" at her. When she again refused, she alleges that she "encountered hostility from the Fox News publicity department."

"Fox News masquerades as a defender of traditional family values, but behind the scenes, it operates like a sex-fueled, Playboy Mansion-like cult, steeped in intimidation, indecency and misogyny," the suit alleges.

Tantaros was pulled by Fox from hosting the show Outnumbered this past April over what it claimed were breaches in her contract. Tantaros's lawsuit, however, claims that this was done in retaliation for complaining about Ailes's sexual harassment.
