The newly-installed acting Attorney General definitively concluded that there was "no collusion" between the Donald Trump campaign and Russia, The Daily Beastreported Thursday.
In 2017, speaking on the SiriusXM Patriot show, the "Wilkow Majority," Matthew Whitaker vindicated the Trump campaign.
“The truth is there was no collusion with the Russians and the Trump campaign,” he concluded.
“There was interference by the Russians into the election, but that is not collusion with the campaign," Whitaker argued. "That’s where the left seems to be just combining those two issues.”
“The last thing they want right now is the truth to come out, and the fact that there’s not a single piece of evidence that demonstrates that the Trump campaign had any illegal or even improper relationships with the Russians," he continued.
"It’s that simple," he added.
