Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) has threatened to take a fellow GOP official "down in flames."
Mace has been embroiled in a dispute with American Airlines since she was said to have lost it and berated TSA agents during a meltdown at the Charleston International Airport. She then announced that she intends on launching a defamation lawsuit against the Charleston International Airport and American Airlines following the curse-filled outburst over the airport’s security measures.
Early Wednesday morning, Mace said more about the lawsuit, and also roped in the attorney general of South Carolina, Alan Wilson, who is a Republican.
"This lawsuit against the airport and American Airlines is long. And it's gnarly," she wrote on social media. "They should never have targeted me, should never have filed false incident report(s) and then leak them."
Mace added, "This suit may bring South Carolina's Attorney General down in flames with it, and several others."
"It's definitely going to shake up the political consultant class in South Carolina too," the lawmaker claimed. "They did not think this through. Goodness."
