FL gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum steps off campaign trail after deadly shooting at Tallahassee yoga studio

Tallahassee mayor and Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum announced that he is returning to the state's capital Friday night after a shooter opened fire inside a hot yoga studio and wounded four people before killing himself.

"I’m deeply appreciative of law enforcement's quick response to the shooting at the yoga facility in Tallahassee today," Gillum said on Twitter. "No act of gun violence is acceptable. I'm in close communication with law enforcement officials and will be returning to Tallahassee tonight."

Gillum was in Miami earlier in the day for a campaign appearance that featured former President Barack Obama.
