Anti-abortion lobbyist: enviros and Obama infiltrated Vatican to impose global UN 'culture of death'

Maria Madise -- globetrotting anti-abortion lobbyist -- told a recent gathering of conservatives in Rome that Pope Francis’ stated belief in climate change suggests he supports a radical human depopulation scheme devised by the United Nations. Environmentalism, Madise says, really means killing babies and the elderly.

Madise holds leadership positions at two global anti-abortion advocacy groups, the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children and Voice of the Family. She made headlines in 2014 for criticizing the Catholic church's position that people who identify as LGBT have value.

"What will Catholic parents now have to tell their children about contraception, cohabiting with partners or living homosexual lifestyles?" Madise asked the Associated Press last year. "Will those parents now have to tell their children that the Vatican teaches that there are positive and constructive aspects to these mortal sins? This approach destroys grace in souls."

During her speech in Rome this month, Madise alleged that, in international policymaking circles, "environmental issues have become an umbrella to cover a wide spectrum of attacks on human life and the family. These attacks pose an immediate threat to the lives of the most vulnerable -- the unborn, the disabled and the elderly -- as well as grave violations of parental rights as the primary educators of their children."

Madise expresses grave concern about ongoing U.N. negotiations surrounding sustainable development and climate change policy, with particular attention to U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki Moon and renowned economist, Jeffrey Sachs. Madise describes Moon and Sachs as "two of the culture of death’s leading figures."

According to Madise, Sachs and his ilk push policy initiatives at the U.N. "that are radically antagonistic to the right to life from conception to natural death, to the rights and dignity of the family."

Madise also has criticisms for the Holy See and U.S. President Barack Obama. The former, she says, has sold out to pursuers of a "global population-control agenda." "Pope Francis," Madise laments, believes "humanity and mankind are behind of 99 percent of the climate change."

"Environmental issues in international negotiations are not about planting trees," Madise warns her audience, but about "killing babies, the infirm and the elderly."

With respect to the President, "ambassadors of the culture of death" employed by the Obama administration "are welcomed to advise our pope," Madise notes despondently.

Cooperation among U.N. officials, the American executive branch, and the Vatican "should set alarm bells ringing for everyone in the pro-life and pro-family movement," Madise says. She contrasts the Catholic church's view that life is a "gift from God" with a government philosophy Madise says considers life a "burden on the planet."

Madise encourages allies in the anti-abortion movement to "remain strong and faithful in the loving truth of Christ also in this storm. We must not despair or be afraid, but we must strengthen ourselves and those close to us to face this turbulence prayerfully and courageously and to insist with all the means at our disposal that any discussion on the environment must stem from understanding that the family, defined correctly, is the key to sustainable development."

The Rome Life Forum kicked off earlier this month in Italy. Fifty-two "leaders" in the anti-abortion movement, representing 16 countries, convened to persuade the Catholic Church "to deny Holy Communion to pro-abortion politicians in a spirit of love and mercy," Life Site News reports.
