'Are you this dumb?' Internet drags Eric Trump for citing Disney's 'Pocahontas' film to defend dad's racism

Eric Trump, son of President Donald Trump, defended his father's decision to call Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) "Pocahontas" during an event to honor Native American veterans by citing a Disney movie of the same name.

In particular, Eric Trump suggested on Twitter Tuesday morning that it was hypocritical for people to claim calling someone "Pocahontas" was offensive when Disney made a popular movie called Pocahontas, a 1995 animated movie that was about the actual historical figure Pocahontas.

Trump's tweet predictably started racking up reactions from his followers -- and the vast majority of them were positively scathing.
