An Arizona man accused of threatening to "execute every single FBI agent and employee" had high-powered firearms and more than 5,000 rounds of ammunition when they raided his home, the agency said in newly unsealed court records.
The Daily Beast was first to report the unsealed search warrant returns for Michael Lee Tomasi, 37, whose house and Jeep Cherokee the FBI searched on Dec. 19. They found, according to the filing:
Weapons:
Prosecutors have argued Lee should be jailed pending trial, despite having purchased the weapons and ammo legally, due to “the totality of circumstances surrounding his violent online threats,” the Daily Beast reports.
Tomasi began posting threats in May 2021 on Patriot.win, an online platform that bills itself as “a never-ending rally of patriots dedicated to the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump," according to the indictment against him.

Prosecutors also contend Lee made ongoing threats to a judge that ruled against Alex Jones and goaded the FBI to “come to my house and see what happens."
“Hangings aren’t punishment enough," the indictment quotes Tomasi as saying. "I want them to die slowly."
Tomasi reportedly blamed his behavior on excessive drinking. His lawyers did not respond to the Daily Beast's request for comment.
